Locally Sourced

Three occurrences are responsible for this post

1. I spent a weekend recently at North Stradbroke Isalnd, aka paradise and while I was walking along one of the gorgeous beaches I came across a drfit of pumice stone. Hey presto – nature’s exfoliater. I picked some up and took it home with me.

2. I fell in love with an olive oil body balm I found on my trip to San Francisco – slather it on clean feet, pop on some socks and, hey presto – soft, hydrated tootsies. Unfortunately, with regular use, hey presto – it disappeared. To feed my olive oil body balm addiction, I was inspired to try making my own. It turned out to be super simple and in less than an hour, hey presto – I had my very own homemade supply – genius!

3. Back to my Straddie trip, I bought the cutest little pair of Freya and Sabine sandals (I can shop ANYWHERE). Locally made at the sunny coast, these sandals are my new favourites.

So, exfoliated and hydrated, I polished my toes with the delightful Violet by Kester Black (thanks scruchdotco!!) and in the perfect ending to my locally sourced foot treatment, I slipped on my brand new sandals. Happy!
